UPDATED: Now from Carlisle to Aintree.

The route now heads south using a quiet road to Penrith before picking up the classic End to End record route and using the A6 to pass over the legendary Shap Fell – one of the most revered and famous climbs on JOGLE. Fortunately, you’ll be approaching from the Northern side which is not as severe as the approach from the south. From here, it’s time to absorb the great views of the Lakes to the west before passing through Kendal. Then it is vistas and panoramas aplenty with the Lancashire Fells of Bowland to the east, and Morecambe Bay and Blackpool Tower to the west, as you make your way to the finish.
