Partners/Charity Partner
Deloitte & ParalympicsGB
Ambition, talent and sheer determination.
Are just three things Deloitte shares with Britain’s Paralympic Team. By choosing ParalympicsGB as their benefitting charity for the Deloitte Ride Across Britain, Deloitte is extending a partnership that began in 2007 through their disability sport programme.

ParalympicsGB
ParalympicsGB are the charity that supports British athletes through each Paralympic Games. In 2008, ParalympicsGB came second in the medal table, and are now facing the home Games in London.
With 2012 just around the corner, they have one chance to ensure that Britain’s Paralympians receive the best possible preparations to compete, and win, against the rest of the world. Through these performances they have one opportunity to inspire change in the way people with a disability are perceived, but they need help to provide the world class support Britain’s athletes need.

“I know firsthand the difference ParalympicsGB can make to the team’s performance. In training just a week before flying out to Beijing,
the front wheel on our tandem fell apart and we had a bad crash. I broke my shoulder blade, and my Beijing dreams were hanging in the
balance. The ParalympicsGB doctors were on hand to give me invaluable medical care – giving me treatment on the trackside and having a
definite impact on my performance, reigniting my hopes of a medal. We went on to win two golds.”
