Day 8: Fort William to Kyle of Sutherland
Another incredible day of riding through the heart of Scotland with mountains, forests and lochs guiding you to the final basecamp
If you are feeling good this will probably be the day when it begins to sink in that the challenge is slowly coming to an end. If you are exhausted you will begin to feel that the finish is within touching distance. On this day you will draw inspiration from the Commando Memorial and take the hidden ways up and above the banks of Loch Ness. The steady final climb inland through Beauty will eventually crest the hill and reveal the glimmering Cromarty Firth and the final run to the finish at the Kyle of Sutherland.
