"The fundraising impact and the life-changes it has promoted are amazing…I and the Deloitte team really appreciate all that was done to make this a landmark event for us, for Threshold, for 600 riders, and for thousands of people who’ve made a difference to great causes through their support, financial and otherwise"
- Heather Hancock, Managing Partner at Deloitte
"Spectacular route. Great support. Tough, no question about it, you have to dig deep to make it, but amazing! You spend the first few days in disbelief you're actually doing it. You spend the last few days in awe of how much you've done!"
- Seth Osher, 2018 Rider
“The Deloitte RAB experience is one of a kind – you’re not going to find a better organised ride, a more rewarding challenge or a more unique way to see the country”
- Mark Cavendish, Professional Cyclist
"Without doubt, we have experienced the most beautiful and scenic landscapes accessible on two wheels travelling from Lands End to John O'Groats! Each day was so different and unique, with new people, new challenges. Even if it meant getting up at 5am, each day was a new adventure!
It’s incredible how our bodies just adapt and carry on, making any low points insignificant, you’d always finish on a high, absolutely buzzing by the end of each day.None of it would be possible without amazing set up provided by the organisers. From superb chaperones, mechanics and medics during the ride to fantastic base camps, delicious food, physio and the most friendly crew after. It was an absolute privilege to take part in the event!"
- Ilona Suder, 2021 Rider
"The Threshold motto of “more is in you” rings true now – the most physically grueling but also rewarding thing I’ve ever been part of"
- Alex Partridge, Olympic Rower
"The threshold chaperones out on the route helping people out and cycling with you are fantastic people and are there to get everyone to the finish each day. Looking back on what we achieved I am so proud to have say I’ve ridden the length of the country including some brutal hills (mountains!!). Just sign up and go for it- you won’t regret it. Go smash it!"
- Lucy Hilton, 2018 Rider
"The trip was incredibly well organised, the food was outstanding, there were power showers, the brilliant physio support kept me on the road. You just focus on the day's riding, then after nine days you've achieved something amazing. "
- Rachel Eaton, 2021 Rider
"'LEJOG' was a once in a lifetime experience, riding on roads that I had never discovered before, the Scottish Highlands, Lancashire, Cumbria and the Wye valley. It's amazing how your body adapts to long rides. You actually get stronger. You're capable of far more than you'd ever believe possible. "
- Matt Thomas, 2021 Rider
